WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO:

We hope the mission makes this clear, but we do everything we do in response to the glory & grace of God, shown clearly to us through Christ. It’s in response to His gospel that we exist, & it’s His gospel that we promote. That gospel is this:

God is perfect, holy, & beyond our comprehension. Heaven is a perfect, holy place, reflecting God’s perfection. Humans are NOT perfect: we are sinful creatures, rebelling against God, & are thus separated from His perfection. Nothing we can do can "earn" the perfection required to live in relationship with God. Because of our sin, & because there are only two options (toward God or against), we deserve death, & then hell…that’s the cost of our sin. BUT…God loves His people! For His great glory & for our great joy, He sent His Son to earth, Jesus Christ, to redeem humanity by paying the price of sin; to die! When Christ died, He bought us & washed us clean. When Christ rose, He conquered death & enabled us to live in perfection with God, forever. This is the good news! We are restored to God, by God’s own grace! There is nothing better in all this life…

Thus, it becomes the basis for our mission, ministry, & everything we ever do. All of us are created to glorify God. All of life is a response to the grace He’s shown us through our salvation…so all of our ministry is the same: our fellowship, our teaching, our worship, & everything else are responses to God. That’s why we do what we do!
